Day 6: The Dresser

Toni's Day 6 Challenge for the 21-Day Organization Challenge was to clean and organize your dresser. After the nasty job of cleaning underneath the sink yesterday, I was glad to see this was an easier challenge.

Before.

The drawers weren't too bad, but the top was starting to get that way. Just a few pieces of clutter leads to about 30 pieces of clutter, so I try to stay on top of it.

I purged about a dozen pairs of panty hose and left just two pairs of knee-highs. I don't think I've worn actual panty hose since I first started college....so I'm not really sure why they always made the move to different apartments and now to our home.

After.
Top cleared off besides things I use on a regular basis.

I won't bore you with pictures of every drawer.  I already use those drawer dividers for my socks/bras/undies,etc. and they work amazingly.  Everything stays organized and I am no longer looking for that missing black sock five minutes before we're off to church on Sunday mornings!

Can you tell it is laundry day? I need some clean socks!

I also got rid of several pre-pregnancy swimming suits that don't fit and don't hide my stretchmarks! (just being honest!)

I got rid of a bunch of sweats and shorts I don't wear anymore, as well as a few odds and ends.  Nice to see they aren't filled to the brim anymore!

I love seeing what others have done to their spaces. Keep up the good work, ladies!

Bring on Day 7!

It looks very nice. On an unrelated note, I love those flowers.
