What is a Blog without someone to READ it?

First and foremost.....I was looking through my posts from the 21-Day Organization Challenge, and I realized that I have blogged nine days in a row!  I have blogged more times this year than I have since I started the blog in 2008, and we are only 11 days in to 2011!

Okay, okay, back to the point of this post.

So when I created this blog in 2008, I had all these dreams about blogging all the time, sharing stories/photos about my life and having all my friends and family read my blog.  I set up my 101 in 1001 challenge, got caught up in life and all it's craziness, and completely forgot about my blog all together.

So, nine posts in a row is great and all, but can I keep it up once the 21-Day Challenge is complete?  I hope so!

But...this leads me to my next item...readers.

In all reality, I am doing this blog just for myself.

As a creative outlet.
A digital 'sounding board'.
A place where I can talk about how cute Hannah is. ;)
For something fun to do (like my plate isn't full enough already)

I think only a handful of my family members even know I have a blog, let alone look at it.

But now that I am posting more and enjoying blogging, do I want to tell the world about my blog?  Kinda scary.  Is anything that I type worthy of even being read?  Probably not.  So then what is the point?

I think that's what is great about a blog. It can be whatever you want it to be, regardless of if people read it or not. I follow a lot of different blogs - personal (like mine), money-saving, organizational, blogs from different companies/products, and they are all unique in their own way.

Hopefully, as I continue to post frequently and participate in more challenges like this one, I will dive further into the blogging world (and figure out what the heck I am doing!) and can share my story (as boring as it may be) with the world!

So for those of you reading this, thanks for visiting. Leave me a comment. I'd  love to hear from you.

Boy that was a long post......;)

I've been blogging for a long (long) time but my current space is brand spanky new (uh - don't ask!). I've never had grand ambitions for my blog - it's always just been a place to say what's in my head. I've met some very good friends through my little old blog about nothing in particular, for which I am grateful. I love that through this challenge I'm getting more comments and "meeting" new people but really, at the end of the day, I blog for me - and you should too!

Take care and enjoy!!

You can check one family member off the list that hasn't looked at your blog. Had a few free minutes at work so I thought I would check it out. Looks great babe. Love you and can't wait to see you tonight.

I came across your blog so I'm going through your challenges to hopefully inspire me to do some organizing. I don't know you, but we would totally be friends. We are a lot alike. House looks great by the way.
